CaddyCell Battery & Charger Care Instructions

Thank you for purchasing a CaddyCell lithium battery and charger. Please read these instructions carefully before using your products.

Using your battery and charger

  • Your battery is supplied fully charged. However, we recommend putting it on charge before first use.
  • Only use the compatible CaddyCell charger supplied for your battery. Using an incompatible charger may damage the battery.
  • Connect the charger to the mains outlet and then connect the charger to the battery. A red light indicates charging; a green light indicates that charging is complete.
  • A full charge cycle can take approximately 4-6 hours.
  • Once fully charged, disconnect the battery from the charger.

Looking after your battery

  • Recharge your battery as soon as possible after use but certainly within 24 hours, even if you have only played 9 holes or used for a short duration.
  • Avoid storing your battery in a discharged state as this can damage your battery.
  • Do not store your battery in a car boot or other location where temperatures may exceed 40 Celcius.
  • Your battery contains a Battery Management System (BMS), which helps protect the cells from damage and maintain their performance.

Important safety information

  • Never attempt to open the battery or charger. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
  • For environmental reasons, disconnect the battery from the charger once charging is complete.
  • Always follow the instructions supplied with your specific battery and charger.
